Brittany joined Rodgers & Associates to become part of a team that uses a comprehensive approach to financial planning. She received her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Millersville University and worked in the behavioral health field after graduation.
Brittany’s interest in financial planning was sparked when she wanted to learn more about personal finance and how to provide opportunities for her children. This made her realize how much she enjoyed being able to help others reach their goals, and she went to Elizabethtown College for her master’s in finance.
Brittany was surprised to learn that one of the most common challenges in retirement is the transition from working full-time. She encourages her clients to take up hobbies and cultivate their passions in retirement to help them remain mentally and physically active. For Brittany, the most gratifying part of retirement planning is being able to help clients reach a fulfilled retirement and affirming that they’ve achieved the goals they worked so hard for.
Brittany appreciates Rodgers & Associates’ involvement with the community and how it supports employees who want to volunteer for non-profits. When she’s not helping a client plan for financial independence, you might find Brittany at her kids’ sporting events or exploring the outdoors.
