Steve joined Rodgers & Associates after working 18 years in the financial services field. He began his career as a research analyst before becoming a financial adviser.

The analytical aspect of financial planning allows him to use his diagnostic skill set. But for Steve, the most rewarding part of the job is working one-on-one with clients to help them envision their future. He’s frequently reminded just how difficult it can be for some people to transition from saving for retirement to living the dream. Having an experi­enced retirement planner affirm that it’s okay to spend can be the assurance some people need to enjoy the funds they have saved.

 Steve loves helping clients reach their financial goals through detailed planning and execution. He takes the time to get to know each client: who they are, what they value, and how he can help them reach their financial aspirations.

When Steve is not helping a client with their financial plan, you might find him tending to Elliker Cookie Company, a cookie business that he and his wife, Amy, operate together. They have four children and enjoy camping as a family. Steve also serves on the parish council and stewardship committee for his church, Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, and is the Race Director for OneRun­To­gether, a non-profit which helps cancer patients.
